10 years ago today, Mr. Watchlist published his very first blog post here.
I thank all of you for following along with me, through multiple blog editors, a few design changes and experiments over the years, and a whole lot of financial crime news.
Please don’t forget that I have a Contact Mr. Watchlist page, and that I do welcome non-spammy comments. If you have a suggestion for me to add or reorganize content here, please don’t be shy – I will certainly consider your idea, even if I do not ultimately adopt it.
How much longer will MrWatchlist.com continue? I can’t honestly say – there is obviously an age at which I will either not be able or want to maintain the site, but I don’t know yet when that is.
How much longer will MrWatchlist.com continue without having ads or sponsors? Certainly as long as I have an employer who frowns on such things – which, by the way, I think is not unreasonable, given that I work for a solutions provider in the compliance field.
That being said, if there is someone out there who would like to take over the site at some point in the future, I’d be happy to discuss that. It’d be nice to find someone whose OCD about financial crime matches up with mine…
Thanks again, all – please tell your friends about the site. I appreciate being able to share my knowledge and efforts more broadly.
Editor’s Note: That’s Mr. & Mrs. Watchlist on our recent “30th Anniversary a Year Early” trip to Arizona, where we visited Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Scottsdale & Tucson in a whirlwind 9 day, 8 night trip.
