Updated sanction report

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has amended the Annex to the Ordinance of 7. August 1990 on economic measures against the Republic of Iraq (RS 946,206).

By decision of 30. In August 2022, the responsible UN Sanctions Committee amended the list of persons, companies and entities sanctioned in this context. The change is directly applicable in Switzerland. SECO therefore on 31. August 2022 adapted the sanctions database SESAM (SECO Sanctions Management), which is relevant for Switzerland, and published the adaptation on its website.

Swiss officials have removed:

Modifications: De- listed on 30 Aug 2022

from its Iraq sanctions, as per the United Nations 1518 Sanctions Committee. The UN’s listing looks like this:
