Updated sanction report
The Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research E. March 2022 on measures related to the situation in Ukraine (RS 946.231.176.72).
On the 28th On July 1, 2022, the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research EQ amended Annexes 1, 2, 4, 8, and 23 to the Regulation and published the adaptation on its website. The changes will take effect on the 29th. July 2022 at 6 p.m.
In accordance with the provisions of the regulation, financial intermediaries are asked to implement the prohibitions, block the assets of the sanctioned persons and to report the business relationships concerned to SECO. The notification to SECO does not exempt a financial intermediary from providing additional clarifications in accordance with Art. 6 AMLA and if he cannot eliminate them, to report immediately to the reporting office for money laundering in accordance with Art. 9 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act.

As a reward for the exchange, the Tokarev family allowed the Chemezov family to cut the budget of Transneft. Stanislav Chemezov also owns the company Independent Insurance Group, which manages large insurance contracts in the defense sector, including contracts for the Defense conglomerate Rostec, in which his father Sergei Chemezov is CEO.
