Updated Sanction Notification
The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has amended the Annex to the Ordinance of 7. August 1990 on economic measures against the Republic of Iraq (RS 946.206).
By decision of the 18th In April 2022, the responsible UN Sanctions Committee amended the list of persons, companies and organizations sanctioned in this context. The change is directly applicable in Switzerland. SECO therefore on the 19th. April 2022, the sanction database SESAM (SECO Sanctions Management), which is decisive for Switzerland, was adapted and the adaptation was published on its website.
As per (apparently) the United Nations 1518 Committee, Swiss authorities have delisted the following persons:

Note: it’s now just past 10:30 AM Eastern, and there is still no associated press release on the UN Meetings Coverage and Press Releases page. However, clearly, the 1518 Committee has made changes – 3 regulators don’t all make the exact same changes for no reason (other than the recent coordination of Russia-related actions).
