Updated sanctions report
Amendments to Annexes 2 and 4 to the Regulation of 30. March 2011 on measures against Libya (RS 946.231.149.82)By order of 28. On January 1, 2022, the responsible UN Sanctions Committee amended the list of sanctioned persons, companies and organizations. The change is directly applicable in Switzerland; the SESAM (SECO Sanctions Management) database was launched on 31. January 2022 adapted.
The change can be found on the SECO website.
Financial intermediaries are invited to block the corresponding assets immediately and to report such business relationships to SECO in accordance with the provisions of the regulation. The notification to SECO does not exempt a financial intermediary from immediately reporting to the Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Office in accordance with Article 9 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
