The HKMA invites registration for its flagship Regtech event – “Unlocking the Power of Regtech”
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is pleased to present its flagship Regtech event – “Unlocking the Power of Regtech” scheduled for 30 June 2021.
“Unlocking the Power of Regtech” marks a significant milestone in the HKMA’s two-year Regtech promotion roadmap published in November 2020. It brings together senior figures from the global Regtech ecosystem including financial institutions, regulators, Regtech providers and other industry experts to share their experience and insights into the enormous potential of Regtech. Key speakers include:
- Mr Yifei Fan, Deputy Governor, People’s Bank of China
- Mr Benoît Cœuré, Head, BIS Innovation Hub
- Mr David Bailey, Executive Director, International Banks Supervision, Bank of England
- Ms Jane Fraser, CEO, Citi
- Ms Jessica Tan, Co-CEO, Ping An Group
- Mr Eddie Yue, Chief Executive, Hong Kong Monetary Authority
- Mr Arthur Yuen, Deputy Chief Executive, Hong Kong Monetary Authority
The virtual event comprises panel discussions, experience sharing sessions and demonstrations, designed to encourage dialogues and networking.

The event is open to everyone who is interested in developing Regtech to transform risk management and regulatory compliance.
