November 7, 2019: EU, OFSI remove 2 from Iraqi sanctions

Yesterday, UK regulators implemented Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1853 by removing the following 2 entities from its Iraq sanctions program:

1. STATE ORGANIZATION FOR IRRIGATION PROJECTS

a.k.a: General Establishment For Irrigation Projects Address: (1) Al-Muadham, near Engineering College, PO Box 14186, Baghdad, Iraq. (2) Northgate, Karanteena, PO Box 148, Baghdad, Iraq. Other Information: Funds or financial assets or economic resources received on or after 23 May 2003 are not to be regarded as frozen nor required to be transferred to the successor arrangements to the DFI Listed on: 05/05/2004 Last Updated: 21/02/2013 07/11/2019 Group ID: 8095.

2. STATE ORGANIZATION FOR LAND RECLAMATION

a.k.a: (1) General Establishment For Execution Of Land Reclamation Contracts (2) General Establishment For Land Reclamation Of Central And Northern Areas (3) General Establishment For Land Reclamation Of Southern Areas (4) General Establishment For Plantation And Development Of The Reclaimed Lands Address: (1) Amiriya, Abu Gharib, PO Box 6161, Baghdad, Iraq. (2) PO Box 27, Wasit Province, Kut, Iraq. (3) PO Box 6061, Aamrlya 7, Nisan, Iraq. (4) PO Box 609, Al- Sadoon Street, Baghdad, Iraq. Other Information: Funds or financial assets or economic resources received on or after 23 May 2003 are not to be regarded as frozen nor required to be transferred to the successor arrangements to the DFI Listed on: 05/05/2004 Last Updated: 21/02/2013 07/11/2019 Group ID: 8090.
