September 26, 2018: EU, HMT remove 2 from Iraq sanctions

On Wednesday, Her Majesty’s Treasury (HMT) implemented Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2018/1286 By removing the following 2 entities from its Iraq sanctions program:

STATE COMPANY FOR ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES

a.k.a: (1) State Enterprise For Electrical Industries (2) State Enterprise For Electrical Industries/Electrical Lamps (3) State Enterprise For Generation And Transmission Of Electricity Address: (1) 4/356 Al Masbah Building, PO Box 1098, Baghdad, Iraq. (2) PO Box 1118, Waziria, Baghdad, Iraq. (3) PO Box 9145, Al-Kadhmiyah, Al-Taji, Baghdad, Iraq. Other Information: Funds or financial assets or economic resources received on or after 23 May 2003 are not to be regarded as frozen nor required to be transferred to the successor arrangements to the DFI Listed on: 05/05/2004 Last Updated: 21/02/2013 26/09/2018 Group ID: 8167.

a.k.a: State Company For Drug Products Address: PO Box 271, Samara, Iraq. Other Information: Funds or financial assets or economic resources received on or after 23 May 2003 are not to be regarded as frozen nor required to be transferred to the successor arrangements to the DFI Listed on: 05/05/2004 Last Updated: 21/02/2013 26/09/2018 Group ID: 8166.
