February 20, 2018: Australia makes changes under UNSC Resolution 1373

Notice of Changes to the Consolidated List

 

United Nations Security Council resolution 1373

 

The Minister for Foreign Affairs has declared that Islamic State Khorasan Province is an entity mentioned in paragraph 1(c) of United Nations Security Council resolution 1373 (2001). The new listing is set out in the following Gazette notice: https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/C2018G00120

 

In addition, following a statutory review pursuant to section 15A of the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945, the Minister for Foreign Affairs has declared that the listing of Islamic State Sinai Province will continue to have effect for a further three years. The amended listing is set out in the following Gazette notice: https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/C2018G00121
