Australian defense export unit schedules outreach program

Dear subscribers, 


Defence Export Controls (DEC) is delivering an outreach program at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) in Sydney on 25 and 26 October. DFAT will be providing an overview of Australia’s sanctions regimes as part of the whole of government session on 25 October 2017. If you would like to participate, please follow the instructions below to register your attendance. In addition to this program and a program run earlier in the year in Melbourne & Brisbane, there will also be similar outreach programs run in Adelaide later in the year. We will advise subscribers of details of that program once finalised.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Defence Export Controls (DEC) would like to invite you to attend our outreach program in Sydney, on October 25th and 26th at University of Technology, Sydney.   

The program will be delivered over two days, and participants are welcome to register for any elements of those days.

 Day One:

  1. Introduction to export controls
  2. Export controls for defence industry OR Export controls for academia and research organisations
  3. Presentations from other government agencies in Australia’s export landscape

 Day Two:

  1. International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR) training. Due to popularity of this session, we ask that attendees register one participant per organisation.
