US Secretary of State John Kerry said today that 11 countries, including Japan, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain, got their 3rd 180-day waiver from OFAC’s Iranian sanctions on countries that import Iranian oil.
After a year, you’d think they’d make more progress on finding other oil sources. Oil sales undermine the financial sanctions on Iran by giving it hard currency for it to further its nuclear program.
